Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 16 September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Learn and Earn ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website, learnandearn.io, our mobile app, or our advertiser console (together, the "Service").
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our Service for you.
| Type of Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Personal Information | Identifiable data you provide voluntarily, such as name, email address, and payment information for account registration, course access, or customer support. |
| Usage Data | Automatically collected data on service interaction. Includes your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, from which we derive your approximate location as described below, along with browser type, pages visited, time and date of visit, and time spent on pages. |
| Location | Your approximate location, which we work out in several ways. Our servers use the IP address your device connects from to estimate your state and metropolitan area. Our analytics provider makes its own estimate from the same IP address, which can include a city, a ZIP code and the approximate coordinates of that area. Our mobile app also reads your device's region setting and time zone. You may also tell us where you are, for example by choosing your state and metropolitan area or, where the app offers it, entering a ZIP code; where you do, we use what you told us instead of our estimate. We never collect location from your device's GPS or location services, and our mobile app does not ask for location permission. Our servers keep only the most recent IP estimate: they refresh it no more than once every seven days while you use the Service and overwrite the previous one. Our analytics provider keeps your IP address and its estimate with each event it records, for as long as it keeps those events. Location you give us, your region setting and your time zone stay with your account until they are replaced or you ask us to delete them using the contact details below, and closing your account does not delete them on its own. |
| Tracking & Cookies | Cookies (small data files on your device) collect information and improve Service analysis. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies, but some Service parts may then be inaccessible. |
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

- To Select Lessons for Your Area: We may use your approximate location, however we obtained it, to decide which sponsored lessons to show you, so that lessons from businesses serving your area can reach you. We also use it, combined with other learners' locations, to understand where our learners are. We do not sell your location, and we do not tell an advertiser where any individual learner is. Advertisers see only aggregate figures about their own campaigns, such as how many learners in a country, state or metropolitan area watched their lessons or may be reached by a campaign.
- For Contract Performance: To develop, comply with, and undertake the purchase contract for products, items, or services you have purchased.
- To Contact You: To contact you by email, telephone, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication for updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services.
